The Space
I'm so grateful to have a studio space that provides a professional environment to shape light and capture compelling moments like some shown in The Portfolio.
The space is nestled in the NoHo Arts District, close to the Chandler Bike Path.
It's a utilitarian space designed for efficiency and function. I won't win architectural and interior design awards, but it's comfortable, completely equipped (private studio, installed backdrops, seating area, vanity and changing room), and capable of high end product output.
General Availability
I am generally available for sessions Monday through Sunday between 12PM and 6PM. On occasion, some mornings and evenings (before noon or after 7pm) can be accommodated.
Headshots
THE FAST-AND-EASY - $300
This in-studio headshot session is quick, but super relaxed and unrushed. We'll cover however many looks we can mange within the one-hour session; covering the basics for an effective and compelling theatrical, commercial or publicity/corporate headshot. Arrive hair/makeup ready for this deal. Send me an email for info on using a professional HMU artist at our session.
The Fast-and-Easy rate includes an hour of shooting, posting of all proofs to a private link within 7 days of the shoot, and the editing of two final full-res images; also delivered via private link.
THE STANDARD - $450
This in-studio classic session is a two-hour session with unlimited looks and four edited final images. For HMU (hair/makeup), I can recommend some of my favorite artists (their price negotiated independently of our shoot) or if you like, arrive makeup ready.
THE RETOUCHED HEADSHOT - $35
After retouches included in the session are fulfilled, there is a $35 per image rate for additional retouches. Or you may bundle four retouches in one order for $125.
Personal Expression
THE FIT & FASHIONABLE - $700
This session provides a very specifc type of mood, lighting and projection of persona. The day is dedicated to you, but as with Editorial, a typical session will last 2-3 hours. This is defferenciated from an Editorial session since the light design and mood is singular and very specific.
Five final image edits are included in these package options.
OPTION 1: FITNESS & FORM
I will make use of a lighting design that highlights form and countour; projecting an intensity of style, edge, strength and emotion. From bodyscape to body-active, this is a popular way to go.
OPTION 2: FASHION (THE LOOK)
Distinguished from Fitness, this also uses a singular and very specific context and lighting design that will higlight style, clothing, swagger...
THE CUSTOMIZED - $TO BE NEGOTIATED
Let's design a shoot togehter that is elaborate, exceptional, personal and unique. I shoot primarily in-studio, but this could be location-themed. The scope and complexity will determine the rate.
For HMU (hair/makeup), I can recommend some of my favorite artists (their price negotiated independently of our shoot) or if you like, arrive makeup ready.
Editorial
THE EXPLORATION - $1200
This photography session is about breaking down routine structure - the rote experience of a casual shoot or the calculation and intent of a headshot session.
Ideally, this is our mutual discovery of creative expression through imagery. Our artistic synergy is the goal. Our unique exploration of lighting, mood, and context.
Beforehand we will discuss themes and goals. …and what’s practical to take on. :)
This is an in-studio experience, where lighting and setting design take on a heightened form. We won't be limited to one lighting and set design.
Most importantly, editorial shoots are solely about the mood, expression, context and final images that suit you…not me. I hope to encourage and inspire, but you will lead as you discover what it is that YOU want to explore; beauty, strength, empowerment, introspection, intensity, coquettish allure, fun, humor, passion, joy…
We will not rush. I’ll set aside the day for this shoot, but in most circumstances, the session lasts about 3 hours.
The session rate includes up to 5 hours of studio time (i.e. shooting time, set adjustments, HMU touchups, wardrobe changes, etc.), posting of all proofs to a private link within 7 days of the shoot, and the editing of 6 final full-res images; also delivered via private link.
For HMU (hair/makeup), I can recommend some of my favorite artists (their price negotiated independently of our shoot) or if you like, arrive makeup ready.

Retouching/Editing/Post
GENERAL HEADSHOT RETOUCHING - $35/image
After retouches included in the session are fulfilled, there is a $35 per image rate for additional headshot retouches. Or you may bundle four retouches in one order for $125.
Retouching of headshots should be very limited and subtle. The idea is to have an accurate and compelling representation of you in the photo. That said, there are certain acceptable edits that are generally okay with management and casting: color correction, subtle skin tone optimization, light blemish-outbreak reduction/removal, under eye darkness diminished, light stray hair removal, diminishing of pronounced clothing wrinkles).
EDITORIAL RETOUCHING - $35/hour
So many possibilities here. Let's chat about what you wish to project in the final product and how editing can achive that.
