I met another awesome talent at the Valley Doll Festival - the event that features hyper-talented musicians and the gathering that introduced me to Lina weeks before. This was a fun and creative shoot with Cat!!
Michelle
Michelle is a good friend and we've shot a few times together. We'll definitely shoot more. Here's are most recent exploration of the "future" and "Jupiter" ;)
Lina
I met Lina at a backyard music fest that showcased a seriously talented group of musicans. We chatted and ended up shooting together four days later, just before her return to Europe. Lina is an accomplished pianist from Hamburg, Germany.
Amanda
In-studio with Amanda. This time we started with a clean, drapped white set and a wash of soft light. Followed by my go-to; the specular and contrasty lighting and mood.
A low contrast black & white to match the dark shear material as the counterpoint to Amanda's fair skin.
In a shear pink wrap. The cotton canvas drop cloth covers the set.
Anna
Poise and power...
Anna is an extremely dedicated fitness advocate. This lighting is designed to highlight shape and contour.
Her red hair is the perfect accent against the dark gray backdrop.
Victoria
This set with Victoria uses the fog from dry ice to add that ethereal mood. The idea was inspired by, "oh man, we gotta try this!"
Same set, sans fog...and applying an artistic higher contrast edit.
